Keymaster Upgrade
Everyone knows Keyhole pianos are beautiful on the outside. Did you know that the inside can be just as amazing? The Keymaster upgrade provides this. The upgrades include a (unique to us) panel that hovers just below the laminated rim that can be customized in almost any way. A bamboo veneer is typical and does a nice job simulating piano harp strings. Especially when mirrored by the matching laminated underside of the lid.
Features
Our very popular interior package is called the "Keymaster". This upgrade beautifully hides the interior of your Keyhole shell. Perfect for performers that want to have the piano open when on display.
We are the only brand that offers a hovering panel that sits below the upper rim and is covered in bamboo (standard). The grain simulates the strings of an acoustic piano harp. The panel lifts out for easy access to the inside.
The lid prop is solid wood, perfectly tapered, and available in two lengths. Painted to match.
Additional surfaces also get laminated when choosing the Keymaster package. The rim around the hovering panel and the underside of the lid gives the perfect reflection of the harp section.
Customization
Make your Keymaster upgrade your own. Almost any element of a Keyhole piano can be customized but the Keymaster upgrade has the most potential to make your shell one-of-a-kind.
Let's start with the hovering panel, which comes in a standard bamboo veneer that has a clear satin finish and provides the illusion of a piano harp. This panel finish can be be highly customized from other veneer species to laminate choices to paint or fabric. Patterns, logos, speaker holes can all be cut out and covered with fabric or left open for backlighting. This is your moment to shine! Give us your unique designs for your creation.
Our standard lid prop is solid wood, perfectly tapered, and available in two lengths. Painted to match.
Want the lid prop in any other length than our standard 20-inches? Just ask. Some customers have even had us install a dual lid prop as seen on acoustic pianos like Steinways and Baldwins.
Additional surface treatments can also be applied. Vinyl decals and logos, wallpaper, any choice of laminate (which is available in a number of textures too), fabrics of all kinds, flocking, Acrylic and other clear components, and anything else you can come up with.
We like a good challenge!
We don't install custom lighting here, but consider it as part of your design. Backlighting through cutouts in the hovering panel or through a clear lid, fog, bubbles, pyrotechnics. The sky's the limit.
